Partners in Mission- Volunteer Opportunities
The young child looked up with a smile on his face and confidence in his eyes. “I got all my math problems correct!,” he said to his tutor, whose help made a difference. An elderly woman gently touched and patted the hand of the woman who had read the newspaper for her. Her actions made a difference. Even Jesus summoned Simon Peter to feed and care for his sheep. We, too, are commissioned to go and make a difference by helping and loving one another.
People who volunteer their time and talents report that they get back in satisfaction and joy more than they ever expected. What you get back in volunteering your time and talents is immeasurable.

Service Opportunities
The Sisters of Notre Dame invite men, women, young adults, and teens to partner with us in continuing Jesus’ caring mission by joining in service opportunities at one of the organizations where our sisters minister. Bring the love and compassion of Jesus to those in need and make a difference.

Invitation To Make a Difference
In taking up the call of Jesus to reach out to our sisters and brothers in need, we also take time to reflect on the service given and how we are encountering Jesus through sharing in his mission. Individuals who partner in the mission with the Sisters of Notre Dame are teamed up with an SND advisor. Our advisor works either one-on-one or in group settings to ensure all volunteers have an opportunity to reflect on their service experience and how to best encounter Jesus through sharing in his mission.
